Life will never be the same.. - ::: p i e c e s _ o f _ m e :::

I finally gathered enough strength to write about this episode of my life... Muhamad Fadhli Che Hassan a.k.a Palie was demised by drowning in a waterfall at Gunung Nuang last Sunday, after saving his 2 G.O. friends. Fathin's call (initially to convey her condolence) at 12.05 am, actually became the first words of the bad news to me. Which explained why he didn't return any of my calls/ messages on that day and the day before. I was lost for words.

The next morning I went to the Madrasah Bkt Antarabangsa with our fellow photographer friends, where his body arrived from Hospital Serdang. I got to see his calm face before we performed solat jenazah, he looked as if he was sleeping. then again the solat performed at masjid al-Ridhuan, where he is buried at the mosque's cemetery afterwards. Alhamdulillah the burial was done without any hassle and fast. and with the overwhelming number of visitors, showed me its a good sign for his afterlife, insyaAllah.

I have lost the other part of me... my mentor, my confidant, my shoulder to cry on.. This was the man who really believed and have faith in what I believe, been through thick and thin with.. he completed me in such a special way, and never failed to charm me with his humble, honest and considerate attitude. I can never forget his ever-smiling face, that radiates warmth and happiness. he had such a big heart and full of life, and lived to the fullest. he touched so many lives, and he touched mine the most.. there's so many things he planned to achieve... but Allah loves him more, he has to go..

I am really sorry for his parents, for the loss of their eldest son, out of 5 siblings. but i do believe in fate, he was taken away for a good cause. I would say that I'm very proud of him, risking his own life for others. I pray for his well afterlife, may Allah bless him with shahid (died from drowning is a form of shahid kecil). And I would like to extend my thanks to all who contributed and helped all along the funeral, especially the G.O. community members. To the girls who are saved by late palie, please, do not feel discouraged and guilty over this incident. His time has come, the incident was only the cause to his demise. Just a reminder to us that our life can end at any time, sooner or later.

P/S: there will be a tahlil performed at masjid Al-Ridhuan, Keramat, KL tomorrow (24th May 2007) for late palie, after maghrib prayer. All muslims are invited.
